The Smiths is the eponymous debut studio album by English rock band the Smiths, released on 20 February 1984 by Rough Trade Records. After the original production by Troy Tate was felt to be inadequate, John Porter re-recorded the album in London, Manchester and Stockport during breaks in the band's UK tour during September 1983. 

The album was well received by critics and listeners, and reached number two on the UK Albums Chart, staying on the chart for 33 weeks. It established the Smiths as a prominent band in the 1980s music scene in the United Kingdom.

The Smiths - Hatful of Hollow (1984)[Flac][Mega]

Hatful of Hollow is a compilation album by English rock band the Smiths, released on 12 November 1984 by Rough Trade Records. The album features BBC Radio 1 studio recordings and two contemporary singles with their B-sides. It was released in the United States on 9 November 1993 by Sire Records, which had initially declined to release the album in the US. Sire instead released Louder Than Bombs in the US in 1987—which contains several of the same tracks as Hatful of Hollow—as well as The World Won't Listen.

Hatful of Hollow reached number seven on the UK Albums Chart, and stayed on the chart for 46 weeks. In 2000, Q magazine placed the album at number 44 on its list of the "100 Greatest British Albums Ever".

Somebody's Watching Me is singer/songwriter Rockwell's debut album, released in 1984 on Motown. It featured the song, "Somebody's Watching Me" (with Michael Jackson on vocals in the chorus), as well as the top 40 hit "Obscene Phone Caller".

Human Racing is the debut studio album by the English singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw. It was originally released in February 1984, on the label MCA. Several songs like "Drum Talk" were based around improvisation; other songs, like "I Won't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", had a political message.

Naked Eyes - Fuel For The Fire (1984)[Flac][Mega]

Fuel for the Fire was Naked Eyes' 1984 follow-up album to their successful début. The band had Top 40 success with the first single off the album, "(What) In the Name of Love", produced by Arthur Baker, which reached #39 in the US on the Billboard Hot 100 and, in a remix by Baker, #35 on the Dance chart. The album peaked at #83 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. 

While a modest hit, it had not matched the commercial and critical success of their debut; in their home country of the UK, neither the album nor its single had charted. Baker remixed another track he had produced for the duo, "Sacrifice", but the record company never released a followup to the Top 40 lead single and Naked Eyes disbanded following the underwhelming reception. 

The album was released for the first time on CD in 2013 by Cherry Red Records.

Born in the U.S.A. is the seventh studio album by American rock singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen. It was released by Columbia Records on June 4, 1984. The album's music was written by Springsteen and recorded with his E Street Band and producers Chuck Plotkin and Jon Landau at The Power Station and The Hit Factory in New York City.

When Born in the U.S.A. was first released, it was met with positive reviews and massive commercial success. It produced seven top-10 hit singles and was promoted with a worldwide concert tour by Springsteen. Born in the U.S.A. became his most commercially successful album and one of the highest-selling records ever, having sold 30 million copies by 2012. It has also been cited by critics as one of the greatest albums of all time. The album received a nomination for Album of the Year at the 1985 Grammy Awards.
